Recalibration Training

This training is designed for independently licensed mental health providers, or advanced graduate students, who have already completed the 40-hour PCIT Therapist Certification Training. Recalibration training is helpful for therapists seeking to prepare for PCIT International Certification, certified PCIT therapists who wish to update skills or those wanting to elevate skills in preparing to become a within agency trainer. Participating therapists will refresh and/or advance their PCIT skills in coding and coaching via DPICS coding and review and practice of CDI and PDI coaching skills.

Training includes

  • Two days of in-person or virtual workshop training.  

    • Typically 9 am – 4:30 pm CST with breaks built in  

  • 11 hours of LPC, LCSW, or LMFT CEU credits

  • Assistance with PCIT Certification​ preparation

  • PCIT session review may be a required pre-requisite to admission

  • May include consultation call extension

      $350 per trainee, *inquire about                scheduling a group for your program

Objectives

  • Strengthen DPICS coding skills 

  • Practice CDI and PDI coaching    skills

  • Review what’s new with PCIT  International

  • Update on research, fidelity, maintaining skills
